New Blog Feature - Calendar!

I don't get much foot traffic here, but thought I'd post it anyways in case anyone stumbles upon Kiddism... I've added a Calendar section which will include family-friendly events in and around the San Gabriel Valley. I will try to keep the calendar as updated as possible with the correct hours of each event for your (and my!) reference. The husband and I always end up with the usual, "so what do you wanna do," with the usual replies of, "ionno, what do u wanna do??" so hopefully the calendar will give us an idea of things to do when we actually have some spare time.

Back to School Freebie: Papercraft Pencil Box!

It has been quite a while since my last post. Let's just say my "infant" is now a preschooler! Andddd since my kids are back to school, I wanted to do a little extra something for the teachers to start off the school year in their good graces.

And so, I finally decided upon filling a school themed box with some goodies. But, I quickly found that it was nearly impossible to find cute AND free favor boxes with a school theme on the interwebz and I got to thinking.

Papercraft has always been a mini passion of mine and how hard can it be? I ended up making my own papercraft pencil shaped favor boxes and since I already had a template, I might as well share it! So, here you go... enjoy!

FYI - I use card stock & double-sided tape for best results!
